About The Event

We are delighted to cordially invite you to the second annual Ronald McDonald Houses Scotland Ball at the prestigious Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow on Friday 15 May!

About the Charities

Ronald McDonald House Glasgow and Ronald McDonald House Edinburgh provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation in Scotland to families whose critically ill child is being treated at hospital.

When a child is ill, they want to have their family by their side and no more so than when they are in hospital. During this time, families often have to travel far from home to get the treatment that their child needs, leaving them with long distances to travel each day and either paying for costly hotel rooms or sleeping on a chair at their bedside.

Ronald McDonald Houses provide families with a comfortable place to stay that's close to their child, giving them more time and energy to focus on being together.

Each year over 550 families are supported in Scotland by Ronald McDonald House Glasgow and this number is expected to double with the opening of the brand-new Ronald McDonald House Edinburgh (operated by Ronald McDonald House Charities UK) later this year. We are delighted there will now be a Ronald McDonald House supporting families in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Both charities rely solely on the support and generosity of fundraisers, donors and volunteers to keep the doors open and keep families close together when it matters most.

All net profits from the Ronald McDonald Houses Scotland Ball will be split equally between both charities. We hope you will join us on 17 May to help make a difference for our families during their time of need.
